The construction industry talks to itself behind closed doors. Today, we're opening them.
There is no regular series in Europe that explores where housing, technology, manufacturing, and policy intersect. The conversations happen - in boardrooms, at industry dinners, between sessions at conferences. But they rarely happen publicly.
Der Konstruktivist (The Constructivist) is a new fortnightly podcast hosted by Wulf von Borzyskowski, CEO of All3 Construction Germany, designed to change that.
Wulf will be talking to the people shaping the future of construction - developers, architects, policy makers, researchers - about what's really happening in the industry, what's holding it back, and what needs to change.
All3 is the host, not the subject. Fifteen minutes, no filler.
Three principles:
- Honest conversations.
- No pre-approved talking points.
- No stage rhetoric.
Constructive, not complaining. Hence the name.
The first episode features Gordon Gorski, CEO of Bayerische Hausbau Development, one of Germany's largest real estate companies, with over 70 years of history shaping urban developments across Munich, Hamburg, and Berlin. He and Wulf discuss the current market cycle, what's really slowing projects today, and the solutions Gorski considers viable.
